    Westworld was the first feature film to process imagery by computer. We obtained a sort of blocky, animated effect that was remarkable in – and a cliche seven years later, when similar imagery appeared in every thing from perfume ads to paintings by Salvador Dali. This book is very informative in exposing both sides of the west, white and red. It time-lines the events and hardships that where performed and documents how the west was won.

It's haunting pictures/daguerreotypes help illustrate the easy-to-read paragraphs, and give a personal sense between reader and character/5. This isn't a John Ford look at the old west. Black cowboys did really exist (they weren't just a fantasy Tarantino).

Blacks had a crucial part in the building of this country and this book gives us our due. Somebody please read this and make a film (a good one), there is so much to go on/5(12).
